A Must Have For Every Mother

So, I have heard of this book like in October, and finally got my hands on it. I just love the idea that this book promotes. Though, I would consider myself as one of those lucky moms, who's kids love veggies, I have to admit there are days when we don't have any....
So, this book came as a great rescue, the recipes are fantastic, and it has information on which vegetable does what for your body, and how much of it you should have a day... My Rylee sat with me like for 30 minutes, and just insisted that we read all about each veggie. Great education! Though, the book was written to trick your kids, I have to say, I am totally OK to be tricked into eating all my veggies as well. It's delicious.
Any whom, just give this book a try, I think you will like it. We can't get enough of it. I got mine on Amazon.com for like $6.

What goes around comes around

About 8 years ago....I was hugely, 9 month pregnant, 10 days overdue with Rylee. My sweet husband one morning decided to play joke on me.
While I was still asleep, he got some worm water and gently pour it down below, so that very shortly I woke up in excitement and panic, for I thought, my water broke and I will FINALLY have this babe....He let me go on believing this for like 10 min. or so, then he plaid this tender moment role of the father and invited me to set on the bed for just a minute, and read this wonderful poem that he wrote just for this moment....I was soo touched and overwhelmed with love of my husband....As I read the poem I have reluctantly realized that he plaid a MEAN joke on me....
Who does that to a popping women???????

SOOOOOOOOO

I had Dr. appointment last Thursday, and Dr. decided to push some button on his computer screen and it looked like this:

O, the sweet revenge!!!!!!! I just had to ask him to print this out. When Troy got home, I said: "Hone, there is something I didn't tell you about my appointment today.....and then I gave him this picture.......( you see, I thought, he was going just freak out on me and I would feel SOOOO GOOOOOD, letting it ride) Well, as he looked at the photo his face start all shivering and his eyes got all read, and he got this sweet daddy voice saying: " Oh....honey....really?......."
Dang it!!! The boy was actually touched and excited!!! What's the mater with him?
Anyway, I felt horrible, and had to tell him right away. He was VERY mad and wouldn't talk to me for a while....but he got over it of course and the next day, I remember his joke on me 8 yrs. ago, so that made me feel sooo much better. What goes around comes around. We were even!

My last week visit to the Doctor

Sense, I am one of those girls, who doesn't keep up when my "friend" is in town, I had no idea just how far prego I was, and Doctor just was guessing about 9 weeks....He has scheduled ultrasound for me and off I went to find out just when Troy and I had some fun in the bedroom....
I had to bring all of my kids with me telling them that they will probably wont see much, to my surprise, I was able to see very clearly (the photos don't do justice here) that I indeed had human being inside of me (it wasn't just a dot on the screen).
Two great things happen while I was in the office. First, I found out that I was 12 weeks prego and not 9...Hooray!!!! How often does that happen? Like, NEVER...not to me anyway.
And second, I was Soooo happy that my kids were there. Their eyes were huge, they had smiles from year to year. And when the baby moved it's legs and arms, they broke in such a laughter. It was such a tender experience for them and me....
So, here are the pictures, though it's not the best shot of the babe, like I said, monitor of the ultrasound was a lot better. So, I will probably have this babe around September 28th (I usually get induce, so the date might very on the Dr. schedule)

When your receive your gift will be a surprise! Now here is the catch, you have to post the same thing on your blog and do the same for 3 lucky people. GOOD LUCK! This is going to be fun!

I saw this on my friends blog site, and though, it took me a while to post it here, I have been thinking about it quite bit....what a wonderful idea of doing something nice.

Goodbuy my love!!!

As many of you may know, I LOVE my deit coke!!! Tooooo much, I'm afraid...
Well, in the past week I very abraptly discovered that child inside my body, wants me to stop drinking it...(for all the nerve, he/she already tells me what to do) I mean even the sight of fontain drink cup sets my gag reflex into action. I can't even talorate the thought of it little alone drinking it.

On the other hand of that I crave healthy foods, ( come on! who crave healthy foods when they are pregnant?)but not just healthy, I crave like "picture perfect", Mediterranean foods. May be I am growing an Italian men in me, after all.

P.S. Troy is my Italian guy, you know.

Guess what!

Do you know what this is?????
YEP, Baby in the making!!!!
We are very excited and ALL of us hopping for a boy!!! But we will welcome girl as well. (smile) Rylee is very excited, Drew is very confused, he doesn't understand why he has to wait for almost a year before we have a baby. I can just hear all kinds of questions coming from him in the next 9 months. Brooklyn is just Brooklyn, she will probably not know what hit her till the day we bring baby home and she will find out she's been dethrone.
I was going to wait and tell Troy on Valentines Day...but who was I kidding...I can't be quite for a week....

DAN THE MAN

So we have this wonderful neighbor, Dan...men the guy can do wonders with wood...check this out...this was our Christmas gift from him and his wife. He is now building entertainment center, and grand chest, for holding blankets...
P.S. if any of you are interested in custom build anything, I can probably arrange you talking with him.

Our Tuesday nights

As a child I used to dance ballroom competitively. I absolutely loved it..always wanted to get back into it.
As long as I could remember, I have been asking Troy to take ballroom classes with
me...once we even went to the studio, were we found 4 guys dancing with each other...that did nothing for my convincing of Troy to join the class.

Finally, on my Birthday, I got my wish!!!! Troy has sighed us up for Ballroom lessons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooo exited!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know if the same excitement goes for Troy....But he
being the great husband that he is, with a smile on his face,
goes every Tuesday to the class.
They say "Dance is a poetry of feet" I'd like to believe that...but for now it is FAR from poetry for us...we are however learning quite bit about our relationship...crazy ha! After first class, Troy told me he didn't realize that I was such a control freak!!! Really? Dude, you've been married to me for almost 10 years...were have you been?
Anyway, we love it....we lough a lot, gaze into each other eyes, and even kiss on the occasion or two. It's been great! Highly recommend for any couple.

Her little friends

I have this thing, where I always have to go to each of my kids, before I go to sleep, and kiss them goodnight, while telling them how much I love them.

So, last night as I was going to kids bedrooms, I have realized, that Brooklyn is no were to be found...I've checked all the kids beds, under beds, behind the door.....

Finally I went to my bedroom to find this...

She LOVES her animals, as you can tell, they just had to come along.

Draper Temple

Last Sunday we had visit from the General Authorities of the church, who spoke to our stake on the importance of not shy away in letting people know what we believe in and who we are.
It was a wonderful talk....he also spoke of the Temples and how important they are. He spoke of how important it is to take advantage of the Draper Open house temple and take our kids there or our non-member friends. He said that we might not have that opportunity again for a long time....and I thought that I want to take my kids there, so they will remember how beautiful and peaceful it is in there.
Troy got off work and I took the kids from school that day and way we went....
And it WAS everything I was hoped for and more. I am so greatful that I was able to listen to the promptings of the spirit and acted upon it. I looked at my children's faces and they were in awe of it's beauty It was symbolic and wounderful to have Troy and the kids in the Celestial Room...
In deed, we can be as family forever!
I would incorage all of you to go before it's dedicated.

Confessions of a not so Betty Crocker

You have all asked me to post this wonderful recipe of the cake. And though I did do a few tricks to it of my own (like the pan that I used and double fudge that I used, and all the drizzle sheezle that I did on the top of the cake....) the recipe itself is extremely simple...Yap, you got it, it is from the BOX...............2 actually. Make first box like instructed then fallow up with the second like instructed. (So I didn't mix two mixes, I just put one on the top of the other with the fudge in between.) Bake it for 45 min. Cool it completely before taking it out, then use extra fudge to put it on top with the sugar powder.
Hope you are not completely disappointed.

If I'm dead, you'll know why

So I have decided that if there was such a being as god of nutrition, the lightning would definitely strike me...I would be dead at this very moment.

As I was worming up Corn dogs (fat, curbs, and heavens knows what else in that) for my kids, I start thinking what they had for breakfast? hmm...Coco puffs...sugar, yam!

Then my mind drifted to last night....lets see what did I cook for my little darlings?.....Ramen noodles...curbs, sodium, and fat. What did they have for lunch yesterday, you would ask......Chicken nuggets. What else do I need to do to see the lightning comming?

(Jill, if you are reading this, please take a deep breath, relax, DO NOT call 911)
