First Day Of School

Rylee started 3rd grade and Drew 1st !!!! They were SOOOO excited for school to start. Rylee was counting days....she would tell all of us how many days left every single morning.....
I think Drew was excited to have lunch at school.

Kids were welcomed with bubbles, and pencils....
Drew is so lucky, for he got Ms. Chatterley, who was Rylee's 1st grade teacher.
When he walked in, she said: "O, Drew, Iam soo excited to have you in my class. I taught your sister, and I just adored her....."
(Well, lets hope the same goes for this big guy)
I just loved watching him there, his whole pasture was taller and I could tell he was so proud to be a big boy.
He has been coming home very fulfilled as a child. Which nothing can make me or Troy more happy.
Rylee got Mrs Orme....she seems very much with the program....Don't know anything yet about her, but I'm sure I will find out soon enough....
P.S. Rylee was very embarrassed of me taking pictures of her.....Man, I don't want them to grow that fast.

Creative Baking

Couple of weeks ago Rylee and her friend Lily had late night, and have decided to create their own cookie/brownie (heavens knows what) recipe.....
Though, the girls had blast doing it, I have to say, I was a little bit scared to see the outcomes of this creation.....
They were literally, just guessing what should go in next.

And the verdict is......
Not So good!
As for me....I have to say, though they may not be next Martha Stuarts, for just throwing stuff randomly in, it wasn't that bad....yes, I did dare and eat some of it.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

This is what I woke up to this afternoon.....I thought sense Troy was home I could rest.....
You don't want to know the language I used trying to wash those monkeys in the bathtub, I believe I did say something naughty...for Drew told me that I used bad word....
I think I grounded them from just about everything I could possibly think of....now I am wondering how I am going to keep them entertain?

All summer long my sweet little Drew has been trying so hard to dig hols in my flower beds. And his mother has been loosing her brain trying figure out how else I can tell him NOT to dig in my flower beds....the kid does get it...
Few days ago, I looked out the window, and have realized that I am to little to late this time around to stop him.... thankfully (I think), I had no energy to yell at him...I just give up...

Well....at list we got great pictures out of it! And may be, just may be it has cured him from digging in my yard!!

My gratitude for this country!

As most of you know, I have been brought to this wonderful land about 17 years ago. When my mother decided to immigrate from Russia.
Today, I want to express my gratitude towards this country and it's people.
I am grateful for:

1. Ability to have and sustain large family. Two kids was the most I have ever heard of some one having in St. Petersburg Russia

2. Introduction to free religion. And freedom to practise it. That alone is the one most important blessing that I have received by coming to this land.

3. An opportunity to go to college, and have it paid for.

4. People who made it possible for me to be in college.

5. Serving LDS mission.

6. People who made it possible for me to do so.

7. Finding my sweetheart, Troy and being sealed to him for Eternity in the Temple.

8. My Sweet little children.....

9. My kids US citizenship.

10.My kids being raised in the Church

11. My extended family. I married into a wonderful family.

12. Ownership of the house.

13. My husband's job. And especially in this trouble times.

14. Lawyers and government officials who work extremely hard to make my life permanent in this country.

I'm sure I have missed a lot...but this is just few little reasons that made huge difference in one girl's life.

Thank you America, and it's people!!!

I'm so excited

I have been wanting this baby for sooo long, and last night Troy has surprised me with it. Yaaa!
For those of you who have never used this...OMGush! It makes you sweat like in 5 min. no joke!
It claims to burn as much calories in 30 min as if you would run on the treadmill for 1 hr.
I don't know if it's true, but I do know that when I used it at the gym, I so could tell the intensity of workout that I was getting is amazing. I love this machine!!!

Our Big Girl

It seems like yesterday that I held this little girl in my arms for the first time and just cried my eyes out, being overwhelmed with joy of what that event has brought. On May 7th Rylee has turn 8 !!! I have surprised her with breakfast morning of pancakes with chocolate ice cream and fresh strawberries. For lunch we have brought her Subway sandwich, her fav. and then of course, she got to pass some cupcakes in her class. After school we went to get her much anticipated Rollerblades. Rylee, has been saving her money to buy some, and lucky girl grandpa and grandma Wren came to the rescue. She was absolutely trill to know that she can get them now.Thank you grandpa and grandma.
This girl is natural on those babies.

After Troy got off work we went out for family diner and after that we have surprise her with....
Yes, we let her, pierce her ears. She still can't believe that we let her.
I don't think she new it would hurt.

But in the end she was glad she did it.

In over all I think Rylee had a fantastic day!!! And defiantly got spoiled... Not to mention the Saturday Birthday party for her 15 friends. I will have to post some great pictures of that later. Much gradutude toTroy for keeping my head still atached to my neck. He is amazing and the kids just adored him. I think he found few that he wouldn't mind adapting. (smile)

Anyway, Rylee, we love you very much and are very proud of the great girl that you are growing into!!!

Our Tooth Fairy Is Fired!!

Rylee has lost 4 teeths so far...and every single time our Tooth Fairy has failed to come by.....Once she came like 3 days late. Then another, she hided her money in pillow cases and under the sheets....what the hake is wrong with her? I mean, I had to go and look through all Rylee's bedding to find her stinking money. Rylee, has even wrote her a letter, saying how mad she is at her, and that she wants her tooth back. So this morning after seeing my daughter crying, I decided that we just need another Tooth Fairy. So pass it on....we are looking for one.

A Must Have For Every Mother

So, I have heard of this book like in October, and finally got my hands on it. I just love the idea that this book promotes. Though, I would consider myself as one of those lucky moms, who's kids love veggies, I have to admit there are days when we don't have any....
So, this book came as a great rescue, the recipes are fantastic, and it has information on which vegetable does what for your body, and how much of it you should have a day... My Rylee sat with me like for 30 minutes, and just insisted that we read all about each veggie. Great education! Though, the book was written to trick your kids, I have to say, I am totally OK to be tricked into eating all my veggies as well. It's delicious.
Any whom, just give this book a try, I think you will like it. We can't get enough of it. I got mine on Amazon.com for like $6.
